That looks like a good solution for you, but I would offer one caution. I've had an older Parabellum develop a stress crack at one of the bottom mounting points after it got brittle with age. Your fix has slightly changed the angle where the shield meets the mounting hardware and might introduce a little added stress at those points in high or cross winds. You might want to add some rubber washers at the shield and/or tighten the mounting bolts as loosely as possible to avoid future problems.

I agree. My final adjustment on the same Parabellum is a Laminar Lip with about the same result.

Is this on a R1150R? If so, what is the part number of the windshield? I am looking for a tall windshield for my R.
