Rear rack question.

Post by Paul »

I've just finished mounting the new cases carriers and rear rack combo, that i've got tonight, on the bike.
Pretty easy and straight forward, but when i putted the cases back on it, they seemed to have some play that wasn't there before with the previous only cases mount.
Nothing crazy but i was wandering if it is normal.

No, I put the rack on about 4 weeks ago and mounted the cases, they are a very tight fit, should be no movement.
Look at the locking lug that it's at home!

Should be no play.

Check that there are the 4 side bolts and the top bolt under the seat (that prevents lateral movement). Mine was missing the top on one side last time I checked.

I've got the rear/side combo as well, and I've got no play in my side cases at all.
