Hi
I have an R1150R 2001 great bike. I find the oil level changes in the site glass I am guessing it is oil sitting in the oil coolers. Has anyone else noticed this?
I am also trying to get the oil to end up half way in the site glass.

Nick, warm her up and then wait for at least 10 minutes before reading your oil level. Then refill until half of the glas is filled.

Preferably by taking a nice half hour ride... at least. 
then sit bike on side stand for a few minutes, then put on centre stand and leave for a few minutes, then check oil level and top up if necessary.
