lambda sensor(s)

Hi All,

I have an 02 R1150R, it seems that this year was a change of Lambda sensor, as far as I can gather from Bosch to NTK(NGK).

I bought a 2nd hand sensor for a Y piece the other day as my original was stuck in my cat :?

The 2nd hand one seems to be a NTK, the original a Bosch.

So, I am now running a NTK instead of a Bosch - will this matter :?:

TIA

All the R259 models, from 2001 to 2005, use a 4 wire O2 sensor, two wires for the sensor outpt and 2 wires for the heating element, irregardless of manufacturer. I assume the connectors made up, so there are no issues.

A while back, I posted on replacing the OEM sensor, when required, with a Bosch universa. The only thing that has to happen is that the connector (cut it off with 5 to 6 inches of wire on so it can be spliced to the new one) from the old one has to be transfered to the new one and saves a lot of $$$$$.
