My friend got one in Japan, "ONLY ONE WITH ALL LEGAL/REGISTERED THE PAPERWORK" and he is restore it.

If he is not, I want to buy it off him.

Wow! It's even got a small colostomy bag.

With that frame and those tyres, I would think the handling is at least up to BMW standards

Rog

PS lovely bike - I'd have it in a flash

Fascinating bikes, with their strap-iron frames. Originally made for the Danish army, I believe, but I could be wrong.
There are several here in Ontario. I love watching the valves and rockers tippy-tapping away at idle.
Cheers,
Tony

I agreed with you, watching the valves and rockers. When I saw my friend's bike two years ago, I was so fasinated with it and hope to ride it one day.

I love old machinary of all kinds. This might be one reason that I 've chosen BMW R instead of other style of bikes out there. Get the conversation going whenever you stopped. When I was in high school, my roommate has old boxer with odd way of getting it start, kick start method and he loved it, me too. But I could not afford it until I got older. "R" is the only style of bike that I wanted.

Love it! Looks to be made from an Erector Set, or maybe Legos.
