R1200R Cruise Control

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had occasion to mount a throttle block cruise control on one of the new R1200Rs. I just purchased a 2011 and though I love the bike, the Wunderlich cruise control was too sloppy on the bar end nipple when I tried to mount it. I was thinking about ordering from Throttlemeister but don't want to order until I'm sure that I'll receive one that fits properly. I love the new bike and wish I had more time to ride it. Thanks to all.

If you're thinking Wunderlich enough to get one first, I'd think Kaoko - better execution of the same idea (I've had both). I'm not in the Throttlemeister camp, mainly because I like the Kaoko so much.

Plenty of other views and preferences and experiences here, and some definite prefernces for Throttlemeister ... some of which can be found by seaching "Throttlemeister" (consensus seems to be to get the heavy bar end weights) or perhaps for the Vista style device (some adaptations in various threads).

There's also an el-cheapo Caterpillar O-ring solution ... Don E is the great exponent.

and ... WELCOME!!

Well, I've ordered one from Kaoko, I should have it in the next few days. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your time and trouble.
