I just bought one - waiting for the big brown truck to drop it off.
Looks like a pretty good design & easy to install. I think you would need to change out the zip ties periodically though.
I'll keep ya'll posted . . .

Works great and you hardly see it, unlike those unsightly huggershttp://

Does a great job keeping the rear shock clean.

Love it. Looks like it belongs to this bike and helps a lot. Easy to install.
In my opinion this is a must have accessory for any R12R.

You need a space between "huggers" and "http"

Well . . .turns out it was sitting on the kitchen table for a week - I thought it was a box my daughters shoes came in.
Nicely mad, easy to install, looks great, looks like it will work great too.
Might want to wrap the break line to avoid chaffing though.

Installed it this afternoon. A simple solution and it works well. Glad I got it. The toughest part was getting the screws to thread.... they just didn't want to start.
And IMHO yes BMW should have a part like this as stock. Part of the package...

The nuts are not oriented perpendicular - I had to start the without the part in place to see how they are oriented, then put the part in place and try to start them in that direction.

Fitted mine today, only took a few minutes and looks like it came with the bike.

I think that's because the stock screws were installed with Locktite - I could see some remnants on the threads when I installed mine.

I agree.
