I am reluctantly posting my bike for sale on another site, so while taking photos, got a little artsy. Pretty happy with this one without really trying:

Just a good looking bike don't you think?

That's one beautiful Kawasaki. Remember riding way back on my 1969 350 Sprint and rode with guys who had those. Actually remember riding behind them-- I couldn't keep up!

My R is the current POW. You guys are making me jealous.

Yup, this will give away how antiquated I am, but I had a 500 triple Kaw I bought the
first year they came out. I think that was maybe early 80's or late 70's?

Back then, they were pretty quick.

Geez that's nice looking Kawi. The 1200 is O. K. , but maybe a bit normal for the Beakster crowd. [-X

Nothing special, just maybe a bit of an unusual angle or perspective.

Keep in mind this is JUST after I got it shipped to me north of KC MO from Dublin, CA,
where I bought it. An 04, this is summer 08 in the pic. It's still CLEAN!!!

Image

Ah HA! with some kind assistance from TLWood28, aka Mr Tom Woodman, maybe THIS will work!

And, 8-[ "while I'm at it" here's another shot - altho I have to admit I'm "just showin' off" the trailer
I built :-)))

Image

Aw, heck, while I'm at it, here another shot, showin off again - my home made lift $20 invested, uses
my floor jack, saved more than that on chiropractor bills the FIRST clutch surgery!

Image

OK, done now.

Still, nothin' quite like a beakster, huh? Very unique look. Sure grows on ya.

(edit) OMG!!! It WORKS! Thank you Mr. Tom!!

Man after my own heart!!

Where is that, BTW?

For you guys that don't ride much:

Macx,

Love that trailer, very nice job. But that floor jack, well... how did you get it up there? :smt079

I've heard that name, but can't place it.

Arkansas? Just grasping here.

Don't ride much? Well, how's 1020 miles since 1 May?

I'm temp in Vegas working a long construction project so am taking the
opportunity to see southern Utah and SE CA besides the scenery around
Vegas - the stuff travelers thru don't see, and will be getting down into
AZ this fall when it cools off a little - friend of mine says the Sedona area
is beautiful.

Put on 1025 one Fri/Sat, 850 another Fri/Sat, 740 2 Sat's ago in 1 day.

Enuf? :-)

Wellll, "now that you asked" :-)

http://s719.photobucket.com/albums/ww20 ... ke%20Lift/

Here's the story on the trailer - needed one to get the RT out to Vegas from SE MO, along with
hauling my household stuff to live in an apt for 3 years for the job. Had been using an old
converted small boat trailer, but it was a bear, not to mention an accident waiting to happen,
getting the bike up on it and back off.

So, being the "always thinking" type, came up with this. First time with a bike on it, pulled out of the
yard (wife pulling it behind her car, me following in mine) and went 1700 miles mostly at 75 mph and it
tracked like a dream. Once in awhile my ideas actually work the way I envision!

Nothing more refreshing than a beer in the hills! My wife to be (pictured) and I took a short little run in the hills just north of Boise, ID. The picture was taken between Pearl and Horseshoe Bend, about 20 miles of dirt if you play it right. This was last month on a Sunday afternoon and we did not see one soul until we dropped down into Horseshoe Bend.

Saturday we head to Big Sky, MT. going to sneak off on the bike, hit yellowstone, elope, hit Bozeman, back through Sun Valley and home.

My favorite pic - after a long day of adventure, a night of comfort @ Stonegate Villas in Leggett, CA.
