ChicagoBMW is no longer selling BMW parts.
They still have the name but don't play the game!
And just when I need to replace a leaking front brake line
Is anybody else selling parts at a discount?
That would explain why it took so long for me to get the last part I requested. I bitched and bitched via email and never got a response. I called and was left on hold for entirely too long. One day, my part showed up UPS RED hahah
When I talked to ChicagoBMW yesterday they told me they sold their BMW parts inventory to CountrysideBMW after they closed their BMW parts business two weeks ago, but they still sell Harley parts...I suspect they sell a lot more of those!
Wow, that sux. They were the one I always used for the annual order or any big ticket items like the clutch slave and FD bearings. It was about a 9 year relationship. Looks like I'll have to shop around and delete their phone number from my stuff.

My experience is that parts prices sometimes fluctuate wildly. When I bought a valve cover bolt recently, the list price was something like $13. When the parts guy went to get it off the shelf, it was priced at $7. Old stock? Who knows?
I don't get caught in the rain, I ride in it on purpose.
