running on one pot - advice required

Post by momentman »

Hi all

I just replaced my battery with and odyssey, and on putting the tank back on i have found that the bike is only now running on the left cylinder. I have retraced my steps and checked a few obvious things , and im now running out of ideas.
I have checked:
- the right hand spark plug is firing (removed and checked it sparking against ground)
- i checked the rhs injector electrical connection which is getting current (thought i might have disturbed it while fiddling with the fuel disconnects)
I am now a bit worried that the injector may not be getting fuel (blockage caused by me getting dirt in the fuel lines?) although the bike didnt run at all
on two cylinders.
I have had the tank off many times before.
Any ideas appreciated, thanks

Is the right throttle cable housing seated properly in the adjustment screw? It is very common for it to get displaced when working near it.
