Just a quick hello to all those I had banter with up to last year. Am on my R12 sabatical currently (riding a Triumph Tiger 800Xc at the moment. Launched last year, they 're doing really well in the UK).
However, was in the BMW dealer at the weekend and sat on a 2012 R1200R. Saw it parked on its side stand and it looked just lovely. Brought back lots of happy memories.

Why don't you ask the dealer if you could take that R12R for a teensie little test ride eh?

Ha ha. Far too risky. Last time I did that, I ended up buying one!... But , of course you know that.
