Booster plug in place for 6000mile service.

Post by ammolab »

Just did 6000mile service at Santa Fe NM BMW dealer. $259 bucks total ( I did change my own oil and filter) and they made no complaints that I brought my bike in with an evil Booster Plug fitted.

After all I had NO warranty complaints and it is MY MOTORCYCLE! They are good folks at this shop!

Anybody else keep their booster plug when taking their in-warranty bike for service? Interesting discussion.

I asked my local BMW shop about that. The service guy said to leave it in, not to worry about it and make sure to tell them so they can take it into consideration when the do the computer evaluations.
