I just took my R1150R to get maintenance performed and while it was there I asked them to install a windscreen that came in a box along with my bike. The wind seems to blow directly in my face. How do you adjust the windscreen?

Well, If the said screen is adjustable, in order to be able to help you on this we really have to know which screen it is that is fitted.
Most screens are adjustable via their mountings and can be tilted to a degree. So what have you got there? :)

Which screen, brand/model are we talking? How far above & away from it are you?..when seated in your comfortable position.

You may need an extension. Such as a Laminar Lip, or as I use a Wunderlich adjustable foil. MRA & Saeng[sp] also make their own design.

Some shields are just solid mount, no adjustment.

Its a BMW shield. It has four mounts that look like curtain holders or something. I will try and post some pictures. I examined the mount and don't see an immediate way to adjust it.

Thanks.

{If} it's the same one I have [had on] 20" from headlight opening to top? There are no adjustments. But I put a Wunderlich "spoiler"
on top of it,and it made a world of difference.

It sounds like the same size. I measured it at 20 and 5/16 inches from bottom to top. It has the following numbers on it: BMW logo and then 99 9 9 0 000 458 and DOT 202 M23 A56

That's the one!...I put that little spoiler on, and it took about three adjustments to get the air right,..no helmet lift , etc.
And of course on the highway , or for any [long] ride I wear earplugs. Made all the difference.

The windshield itself doesn't have adjustment that I know of.

Is this the Wunderlich spoiler you mention?

I've never had a bike with any kind of fairing so am thinking of going with the BMW screen shown earlier in this thread and the wonderlich attachment. Any other options IO should consider, considering this combo is pretty pricey> If aeroflow is unavailable...? I am 6-2 and the screen will go on an 04 R1150R.
Thanks

I went to a smaller windshield(BMW fly screen). It looks better, and is effective.
