Ok, A few people have asked in other threads what became of former members of this board, so I thought I'd open it up. Please, anyone else know of any other past members that aren't with us anymore, please add them to the list. Maybe when we're done compiling this list I can send one big email to all of them. ps - as people post to this thread I will go back and edit to add them to the queue.

What became of:
LitlFoot - Remember Rhonda? She had a gazillion motorcycles in her garage, had a great sense of humor, lived in Birmingam Alabama, and would have made a great wife for Patrick had she not been married already (uh, oh...gonna get killed for this one!!! Sorry Patrick, it's the Jewish Shadchan coming out..., for yleesvr's benefit, thats Yiddish for matchmaker!!)

FredRyder - Didn't know fred personally, but I believe he was from Pennsylvania and posted quite frequently in the early days.

Canary - aka Scott Conory. He's been mentioned recently in another 'where is he' thread. I believe he owns a 1200GS now, but he was a contributor in the 'old board' as well as a photographer of extrodinary caliber.

BMWChef is one I really miss. In the "heat of battle" he could stay calm & polite without being condescending. He had a wonderful philosophy of life and the little Hawaiian language snippets were always nice. And I thought he was the most intelligent guy on the board.

BMWChef is one I really miss. In the "heat of battle" he could stay calm & polite without being condescending. He had a wonderful philosophy of life and the little Hawaiian language snippets were always nice.

Canary is an active member of the Advrider board.

I had the pleasure of riding with BMWChef a couple of years ago, he is indeed a class act and a gentleman, as well as a very competent rider who moves at a brisk pace smoothly and effortlessly. A very interesting guy who's had some neat life experiences that he manages to tell you about without being self-centered or boring. I miss his presence on this forum too...

ps - The "chef" truly is a gentleman and a scholar (not to mention a fine cook!). Last summer when my wife and I flew from Virginia to San Francisco to attend Menzies (Gene Menzies) wedding, Mark (BMWCHEF) arranged for us to have private tours of several wineries in Napa Valley. He must have *somne* clout, as we were given the royal treatment!

Fred is alive and well and still riding his 1150R. My wife and I particpated in a ride he put together in PA just a few months ago. We had a wonderful time, he is a GREAT road captain. I met Fred through this board. I received an email from him just the other day.

However, like Fred, my interest in this board has waned. My tolerance is just a bit higher I guess. I'll pass along your greetings.

It's been a couple of years since I rode with the Chef, but at that time he was just setting up Zocalo's a restaurant here in San Diego. Definitely a good guy.

I'm still here. I just don't post that often. I bought a R1100GS last december and traded the r1150r in for a Thruxton back in April.

Good to hear from you shane. I remember meeting you at the First Bash at Deal's Gap.

You should look in the group rides for next May in Marietta, OH. I believe that there are some dual sport trails that you could run the GS through Wayne National Forest.

Startus8 (Charles) was my old riding buddy here in Atlanta. He moved to Vancouver and has a little kid now to take his time. He HAS posted a couple of times since then and insists that he misses us.

So how did they respond to the email?
