Hi,
Are there any bags that have been used - either good or bad?
There seem to a few made to work with a handlebar crossbar that the R1200R is without.
Thank you for your time.
Darren

Darren, I don't think I've ever seen a bag on the handlebars. (I'm struggling to envision how it would work.) My sense is it's a bad idea b/c of additional weight, covers the c0ckpit, more difficult to turn the bike. There are many tank bag options - have you looked at any of those?

Hummmmm... :P

This stuff might be nice to use in urban mode when needed to play it light...
for example when going to party with the bike and still wearing the bike suit.

Seems much lighter than a tank bag and more ergonomically designed to carry around with the shoulder strap.

Just city wise convenient I think

However they don't mention the weight and I don't think the Velcro pads are that easy to replace
which is a bummer specially when using them often... Those Velcro's do wear out fast usually.

Thanks for the link!

I also looked at the Zig Zag bag by Giant Loop. It was in Motorcyclist and Rider this month.
