The modifications that i have made on my bike regarding performance are:

Installation of a K&N Sport Air Filter and a complete Laser Exaust system, catalyst removed, and also a new Chip.

Can you tell me if you have made any other modifications on your bikes?

Performance wise, so far only Remus Y-pipe and Remus Revolution can. When DynoJet releases the Power Commander for R-series, that's going to be on. I haven't quite decided about the K&N filter yet. Probably next year sometimes, I'll replace the suspension with Works Performance kit for sportier performance.

Performance :

Remus Y-piece

Cosmetic/Usability :

Home made Screen
Stanton Head Guards
PIAA 1100X headlights (to augment existing full beam only).
Bagster Tank Cover
Keith Haynes Rear wheel hub-plug

errr - think that's all

Can you send me pics?

I don't have any performance mods, just safety/comfort.

I have:

• GS hand guards
• BMW head guards (plastic covers, not bars)
• Kisan headlight modulator
• Brake! L.E.D. taillight with deceleration warning

Wish list:

• Remus cat eliminator and titanium revolution can
• Power Commander (if they ever release it!)
• Wunderlich belly pan (flat black, of course)
• Wunderlich performance headers if they'd work with the Remus hardware.

Here are a couple galleries with pictures of various Rockster windscreens, some rides I've taken in Northern CA and pics of my Ed. 80.
Some pictures were collected off this site and are not by me...

Comfort & Safety mods:
Sargent seat, k1200r mirrors, Moto Techniks Bar backs, system cases, CSS tank protectors, Cee Bailey headlight protectors...

I put a Parabellum windshield on mine - cost a whole lot less than the one BMW punted out and it's a lot nicer looking too. With the windshield, 100 mph feels the same as 80. Other than that I added handguards from a GS650, BMW head protectors and some pinstripes.
Those pinstripes added 14 mph to the top end, I swear!
Who sells chips for R1150's?

Mine's got a cut rear fender. all coloured parts are now matte black, including handle bars, valve covers, exhaust headers, triple clamp, pillion cover, wheels etc.etc., no muffler- just the cat, handlebar risers, HID headlamp conversion and some other minor mods I forgot.

Performance modifications don't usually interest me since coming from a Harley, the Rock is a rocket i.e. plenty for me to handle.

But look at my posting: Rockster + Tourer.

I changed out the bars for the Roadster bars. Much better.
Next I lowered the pegs and got a Sargant seat. Much, Much better.

After riding down the Blue Ridge Parkway and back I was happy as a clam pushing 200 miles between stops.

I guess it all depends on what kind of riding you like to do. Me, it's long distance with some fun curves thrown in.

Good luck.

Look at Toner's pics... He's got the Wunderlich tank pads. Way cool, and they do work.

Js, I have a couple ?s for you. First, when you changed your bars did the cables and brake lines still work? And how did you lower the pegs?
Thanks,
