BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

An ad on local craigslist has left and right bags at a reasonable price, but they came off an R1100S(model year unknown) Does anyone know or know of a resource to help determine if they will fit my 05/1150r ?

Rightside case is useally the same. You have to look at the bottom part that attaches to your bike. Numbers in green match, in red don't.
Left side needs the cut out for the exhaust (R1100S has seat pipes). So not a 100% match, but maybe you could get the right case for a nice price.
If I remember correcctly cases from R1100R, R850R, R1150R, R1150GS, K1200RS, K1200GT are all matching.

I was looking at ebay and boneyard at options for just the bottom portion of left side when the guy texted me saying they had sold....ironically to a guy on 1150r with custom exhaust. Both bags with liners for $125 new condition.

Hmmm, that sounds cheap. Useally BMW pannier cases go for around 200 euro (poor condition) to 300 euro (excellent condition).
I always keep my eye out for them, especially the rightside case. Gives you a bit more space, easy enough to store some extra's.
