Brickhands Rick Strikes Again! Headlight lens toasted

Well, a friend had a brand-new Trucklite LED Headlight phase 7 (7") he took off his Harley, less than an hour on it, so I thought I would see if it would fit on my R. Thought a 7" would fit for some reason, and I've never really been inside the headlight so didn't realize how it was built. Anyway, got the trim ring off, got it unplugged from the two harnesses (what is the small harness, a parking light?), and when I went to put the whole thing down on the floor the lens part and gasket slipped loose and broke into 50 pieces.
Add to that it looks like the headlight housing just swallows this led headlight, which also has no sub-harness for the little bulb, and it passes right through the trim ring so a no go there.
So should I just bit the bullet and get a new lens and put it all back, or is there a path forward on upgrading the headlight at this time? Unless there is a whole assembly that will fit inside the housing and trim ring, I don't know how to proceed except look for a new lens. Even if I got a xenon setup, would still need the lens right? Need some suggestions quickly, if possible, have a ride next week, thanks.
