I just bought a 2002 r1150r, couple questions.I have no windshield, could someone tell me a good choice to get the wind off my helmet. Im 6ft tall with a long torso. And I dont have any mounts from stock windshield,if it came with one? Also my K75 had a nice stock topcase that came on and off, it used the stock luggage rack. Did BMW make one for the r1150r bike? One last question, any pics of a Sargent or Courbin seat on these bikes, and feedback on the seats.

I use the BMW touring windshield, now sold by the ZTECHNIK division of National Cycle as the R1150R tall windshield; BMW soft topcase (designed for the K1200RS and the R1150R luggage rack; and Sargent saddle. All recommended.

I have the BMW touring shield as well as a Sargent seat and Givi top box. I wouldn't be without any of the three. The Sargent seat is hands down a huge improvement over the stock seat and makes a 400+ mile day possible. I also have a laminar lip on my shield and that helps as well. I've gotten spoiled riding behind a shield, removed it this past spring for a good cleaning and could not wait to put it back on.

If you're ok to pay postage I made myself a rack-mount for the standard R1150RT topbox to fit onto the R1150R luggage racks. I found that the R1150RT topbox was a mite small for my needs - but looked very nice on the bike.

As for the windshield options, take a look in this topic :

For the rack options, BMW hasn't made a specific top case rack, but GIVI did (the SR683) and you can fit any GIVI or Kappa monokey topcase :

In real life, it looks like this without the topcase

National Cycle in Chicago is the only "factory" fit shield I could find. Turns out it's incredible. Great coverage and the view is over the top.
As for the seat. I sent my old seat to Sargent and they re-foamed and covered it for $335. Turnaround time was about 3 weeks. The alternative is to buy the whole thing which is $615. Which do you have more of, money or time?

Parabellum makes a windshield specifically for the R1150R; it comes with all mounting hardware, in three heights. I've heard that you can talk to them directly and they'll actually make the windshield the height you want. They also make a fairing (the "Scout") for the 1150R. Their website is interesting, the founder of the company started Parabellum to make windshields for BMWs, they now have a pretty extensive product line.
