Rockster v 1150R spring rates

I'm interested in both the Rockster and the 1150R, but have been unsuccessful so far
in finding out if both bikes share the same suspension spring rates.

I did once own a R1200R, but found the suspension too harsh, on anything but the smoothest
roads.

I quite like the look of the Rockster, but I'd be annoyed if I subsequently found out that the 1150R
would have been the way to go.

Many thanks.

I found a list of Ohlins spring options on the web and that showed the Rockster to have a stiffer Spring than the R......Rockster had Standard and +10% and the 1150R had Standard, +10% and +20% spring options.
So, in Ohlins world a Rockster is 10% stiffer than the R.

Having said that, the youngest 1150 is now going to be 10 years old so springs and dampers are going to be past there sell by date by now. Plus any suspension system needs matching to the riders weight and riding style. I'm about 14 stone plus riding gear and I haven't found my Rockster to be particularly harsh, front or rear....but that's just me.

Trickytree, thanks for that.

In Ohlins case I'd have to find out if they would match springs to my just under 11 stone weight.
I'd also be interested how Ohlin spring rates compare to BMW original spring rates.

Mind you, I suppose quality (Ohlin) damping comes into the equation also.
