Kleen Guard Gloves, Purple Nitrile

Guys,

I got a sample of these gloves from Kimberly-Clark. I was doing a brake job and these are great gloves. You get good feel, (good tactical feel), and they keep your hands clean. Great for very dirty jobs. I used them for two brake jobs and then threw them out.

They are good for working on the inside of computers too. They help prevent static electricity discharges from your hands to internal components.

Never used em in a mechanical situation but very commonly used glove in the healthcare setting from Enviromental Services to Food staff to Nursing and Pharmacy (the latter I can personally attest to, used in the IV Room while handling sterile products and needles. not puncture proof but will help minimize needle sticks and exposure from tears) and best of all you can probably find them in your local pharmacy, likely in the diabetes care section.

Good quality dispoable glove. Like my Xterra, million uses and counting!!

I use the blue nitrile gloves that you can get at auto parts stores, Wal-Mart, etc. I prefer no-powder gloves.

Where do you get these purple ones? How much are they?

As you know doubt remember from high school health class, petroleum-based lubricants and fluids will break down latex.

I wear the blue nitrile gloves for 9+ hours a day building diesel fuel pumps for Caterpillar. They work great for mechanical applications. I use them at home for changing the oil on the Rockster and in the kitchen for when I'm cutting up hot peppers for salsa.
