A season of great rides

I led a season of Wednesday night dinner rides this year. The rides originated in various locales around Columbus, Ohio USA and went to far flung diners and barbecue joints. A friend led the rides for the previous 9 years and I took over for him this year. It is a great way to get together with old and new riding buddies in the middle of the week. Our own Jeff Evans, BiffsR, even made it to one of the rides. Our record long was 230 miles!

That's me. I'm not sure if I'm giving the thumbs up or signalling that I need an umbrella.
That night's destination was improvised. We went in the direction with the least rain. That Rabid Transit fairing is great, and don't think you're going to run away from that guy in the twisties.

Next year I need to get a better way of finding out where you guys are going. I promise that I will make it out more. We also need to figure out a day when the Columbus contingent can get together and ride together.

This place is about 200 yards/meters from a "gentlemen's" club, and an Amish church. It is also in the middle of nowhere, but has great pie.

I guarantee there are no gentlemen in that club.
No ladies, either.
When I'm in the area I always stop at Peggy Sue's for pie.
I like the cooler on the Goldwing. Now that's riding in style.
Might as well load that sucker down. I've known a couple of Goldwingers who were such pack rats that they hardly had any luggage capacity for a trip.
