I found this photo of the Roadster on a DE (is that Deutschland or Denmark?) site. Take a look at those mirrors! Anybody got a line on those here in the CONUS?

DE is commonly the designation for Germany. Those appear to be K1200RS mirrors.

Aren't they just the BMW Cruiser mirrors...marko has them...Mike in the UK has them...I like them too.

And Chicago BMW has them not too expensive ($33@) ...less expensive than the Rizoma alternative. I might get me some.

Hey DJ - is that picture of the K1200R an Aussie model? Why only one headlight? Is it a custom job?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Hi
They look like cruiser mirrors to me, just like in DJ's photo. I just fitted a pair and I really like the expanded field of view, much better.
Had some trouble getting the bushes (adaptor sleeves) and thanks to Marko in Melbourne finally tracked them down.
From my paperwork the chrome cruiser mirrors are pn 71607658937 and the sleeves to adapt them to the R1150R are pn 51162328422.

Can you post a link to that first pic? I'd like to see the black wheels - sharp looking R. Thanks in advance.

Yeah me too DJ! In fact I'm loving that whole exhaust look with the rings on the pipes, etc. The black valve covers and wheels make it look super!

If I only had the money.....

That bike looks really hot. Here's what appears to be the mods:

1) Decals removed
2) Black painted wheels
3) Clear turn signal lenses
4) Trimmed rear fender
5) Windscreen (stock BMW speedster?) - painted black or tinted
6) Laser can and y-pipe
7) Black painted heads - possibly carbon covers?
8) Passenger pegs (center/kickstand?) removed
9) Hugger on the rear wheel

I need a new rear tire. After seeing that pic (and several others), I'm seriously considering having my wheels powdercoated black when I put on the new Michelins.

The mirrors look closer to these that I found at Sierra BMW rather than the K mirrors. Note that the stalk in the picture and the ones on the URL below are different than the K mirrors that some have on their bikes.

I'd guess that maybe they're the K1200R mirrors - non chrome version. Here's a pic...

Guys ... I remember reading somewhere that the Ducati monsters mirrors share the same threads as the BMWs .... so .... these might fit on BMWs ....
