London Bikers

Post by fallingpines »

Just got into London for a week of business and site seeing and can't help but to notice how seriously bikes are taken over here. Nothing quite like Ohio in the winter where my bikes sit and wait for warmer / dryer weather. I'm keeping my eyes open for R's but haven't seen any yet. Anyone riding by however feel free to toot while riding past the Landmark. Cheers!

Welcome to the smoke. Yes we do take our bikes seriously, but you should see it in summer. There are a few R's around but you are just as likely to see other BMW's. Although one of the couriour firms does use white ones.

I don't see the point in not riding and doubling my journy time, jamed into a slow train, just because it's a bit cold.

We're all coming down to London on Friday 3rd February to see Alegria (Cirque Du Soleil) at the Royal Albert Hall and we'll be staying at The Cavendish Hotel in Jermyn Street, near Piccadilly Circus.

Message me if you fancy meeting up.

Though I must confess to us all coming by train! We'll not be on bikes.

Cheers!

Jonothan, Glad to hear that your going to be in the hood, however I'll be on a British Airways plane stretched out in business class seats snoozing away on the 2nd, heading back to Ohio. Hoping to get in a cool weekend ride charging the battery on on R and taking my 61' R60 out for a little romp if I have time. If ever in my hood, feel free to let me know!

Have a jolly good time at the Circus!
