Hello,
First, excuse me for my very bad english, i'm french...My name is Julie and i have an orange Rockster.
I have a probleme and maybe you can help me ??
I would like to put a seat cowl. But i found only 2 models : the BMW one (metallic) and the Wunderlich one. And i don't like these ones. I'm looking for something more...hum...round if you see what i mean.
Do you known where i can find it ?

Dream on, fnfalman, you can't swim the sea with your Rockster/R1150R! I can ride for 1 1/2 hour from London, take a ferry from Dover to France and take Julie for a dinner!
On the serious note - the items which DJ Downunder has pointed can be bought from Wunderlich
http://www.wunderlich.co.uk/. I don't think that the shipping charges will be so bad from UK to France.
There is a bit of a problem on their website though
- if you go to the shop and click on the main page which lists all the r850r and r1150r - it goes to the GS series. For correct result - please click on the list on the left hand side.

DJ Downunder > I saw the doken seat cowl...very big and round ! But I've just chosen a big engine spoiler (AC Schnitzer) and finaly it's more beautiful to put a "small" seat cowl. So I'll probably choose the Wunderlich one. (I can order on their website...in deutch!)

belly pan ? engine spoiler is not the same thing ?
Anyway, here is the picture of the "belly pan" which I have just ordered...(but my rockster is orange and black)

Afterward, I shall like adding also :
- a rear whelle hugger (the wunderlich one)
- a solo seat cowl (finaly wunderlich too)
-an underseat tray...and I never saw one of them. But i can't be the first who think to add it one !!???
You belive that that exists ?

My doctor (she is French) suggested for short trip to go to Le Touquet (I am not sure about spelling) and to Boulogne Sur Mer (again, spelling).
This is not going to be proper touring though. I need to stretch my legs first (I had this bike for 3 1/2 months so far)(before I was on 125 cc).
For late summer the plan is to take ferry from Portsmouth to Santander, Spain and then go down to Portugal.
You are not going to come to England???

Duke. If you are going to that end of France ie Boulogne sur mer Do go by Speedferries from Dover. £19 each way bike and two anytime.. Excelent ferry (sometimes a bit late) only 55 mins across the Manche. Check out Speedferries.com for bookings.. May you have good miles in France (how could you not??) RR
PS I drive from Portsmouth to use service, rather than pay silly prices in the western channel..

Sure with the Rockster!
I am considering if I should buy BMW panniers, or just go for soft luggage and buy Garmin 27XX series GPS instead.

Is that exhaust road legal??? Because it looks like it is going to be a one hell of a growler! Are you using PowerCommander?

Yes, it's road-legal. It has ISO9001, Tüv, ABE...
It produces a deeper sound, but not tooo loud. Has also removable DB-killer and cat (still in the box of course..)
I don' t have a Power-commander, but am waiting for bigger injectors, chip and gas-valve... (est. power : 105bhp)
