HUGE apologies for starting another thread on exhausts, but I just need some feedback on whether a Neptune muffler on my 2002 ABS R1150R will give it a better sound without mucking up anything else.

I have option to pick up low km muffler cheap and just fancy hotting the exhaust sound up a bit. I'm not looking for power gains and such like.

P.S. Yes, I did start checking previous threads but could find little on Neptunes.

If it's just a better sound you're after..try taking off the muffler and running with just the cat..that'll cost you nothing.

Don't expect any power gains unless you replace the cat with a Y pipe.

Don't know anything about Neptune..do they ever need re-packing?...that would put me off them if they do.
