i saw an exhaust that puts a muffler where the cat is now. i have been running 18K miles w/o the muffler, and i want to eliminate the cat now.
this is of course all before i get the turbo setup all done, i gotta do something with my bike to keep me busy.
also, i have made some cool mods to my scooter on the back end of it.
anyone ever have a clutch go out? mine slips once and a while, and im almost certain that the dealer isnt gonna wanna replace it.

Maybe that muffler is a custom job? Keep me updated with the turbo project. I may swing that way too.

no the muffler was bought somewhere, i remember seeing it on the old message board.... now i cant find it ANYWHERE...
it puts a muffler where the cat goes, and has a nice tip on it, but no can is installed. the exhaust dumps right behind your foot.

You mean this one ?

It's from a Dutch manufacturer (had been thinking of buying one, but it reduces both torque and power, and is rather expensive)

Looks like somebody has had a go at fitting a Buell one on. BADLY!!!

I replaced my oem exhaust with the BSM-one. I like it very much as it reduces weight and now I use place 2 full-size cases.

It reduces top-power, but increases torc in lower revs. It also weighs 6 kilos less that oem and I can store more luggage.
If I can't convince you I'll meet you at a stoplight somewhere in Belgium.
I 've seen it at Wüdos in Germany 2 years ago and ordered one right away, but had to wait a few months as it wasn't in production yet. Payed about 750€.

Throw in a Power Commander and retune the engine. That'll solve the power delivery issue.
