Hi there guys,

I accidentally came across this forum and though I’d say hello. I‘ve owned an Edition 80 for about a year and a half now and haven’t regretted a minute of it. I’ve traveled a bit with my Rockster and as of today there are 20K on my meter. (Time for my service I guess). The sun is now out here in Greece and looking forward to some new touring routes.

Now I’ve read through the forum and found quite a few interesting things. I need to buy a windshield and one of this three-piece tank paint protector one of you guys have. The thing is that I don’t know if I can get these things here in Greece. The BMW folks here just told me that there is no windshield available for the Rockster so it has to be an online order from abroad. Do you guys know of an online shop that will ship to Europe or Greece for that matter? I’d really appreciate the help.

BTW, if you ever decide to tour to Greece, you know I’m your man. :)

No BMW windscreen for the Rockster???

I've got an Ed 80 as well. And my windscreen came came from my dealer AND has a black and white Rockster logo on it.

Methinks someone's telling you stories.

Or go without the wind screen. 19,000-miles totally naked. 8)

I like naked.

(the Yamaha VStar has a small windshield, but I plan on selling the bike).

Thanks for the replies guys. I would not mind buying a non BMW windshield and save some euros. However, it's hard for me to find these parts available in Greece or a site that would ship them here. I even have a problem finding the BMW one so I may have to stay naked. Maybe I'll talk with a different BMW partner, see what they have to say.
