Great looking bike. Atlanta Blue is the best color, of course.
Nice yellow Porsche, too.

I NOTICE THE PREVIOUS OWNER CUT THE MUD FLAP SHORT, RIGHT EVEN WITH THE LICENCE PLATE.
I'M THINKING OF DOING THE SAME THING.

Yes, I notice this last night while I spent some time in garage with her. I think it looks good with shorter flap. funny that I went to state inspection today and in Texas we required have inspection sticker on the mud flap which I don't have it. the dealer gave me free tag holder which has plastic extended for sticker. overall still shorter than original and it looks good to me.

Good eyes Bry, does any one here paint your calipers?

It's very common mods in car world. you can find people painted their calipers from Civic to Carrera, car makers to Brembo. the black calipers on R it just factory painted (powder coated) black. I just wondering what others colors will look like on R...

Eddie....your new bike is beautiful...that's the classic original Roadster color...it looks great.
You may find that you will need to put a small fly screen on it because you get a lot of wind hitting you in the chest once up to speed like on freeways.
Also you might consider the small plastic valve cover protectors...they will help in an accidental drop while stopped..let's hope that doesn't happen..

Ed,
Nice bike, looks almost like it rolled out of the dealer, so clean and polished.
DJ. I hear ya about the wind protection. I don't mind it and like to feel and look of a all naked street bike. You get used to the wind. I'm not in the best shape and I've ridden several long trips without a windscreen, including 23 hours straight from Florida to New York Last May at times speeds over 100 mph.
best regards,
Gene

I live in Texas and I have heard that the registration doesn't HAVE to be under the plate. It can be anywhere on your bike. In fact, you can keep it in the storage under the pillion seat. You just have to have it ready to show if you get stopped. I've seen many bikes that have their registration sticker in places other than under the plate.
I would cut that long mud flap too if I had the tools. Then I would just keep the registration under the seat.

DJ, thanks for the suggestion. but I am with Gene on this one.

I'd rather let the wind blow me off freeway and keep the naked look. hee hee
Kristi, I really admire you. next time if we are in Houston, I'd like to ask you show up with your R in front of my wife. she will be jaw drop...

thanks for the trick and I will definitely put the sticker under seat next year... new to bike world and dealer probably use me as free advertising. too bad I just figure that out...
