DJ,
I was wondering about 2/3 through the pics if you just kept the bike. Good trade.
Nice variety of shots and locales.
Anybody with experience in both left and right handed countries...how hard is it to mentally/physically adjust to riding wrong?

Mikecam - swapping sides on a bike is no big deal. You have to think when pulling out of stops and when turning across the oncoming caririage way so you don't enter the road on the wrong side but generally easy

Only if you're riding the other way...
Left side, right side, takes no time at all to adjust to the main points...I do keep going into things like supermarket car parks on the wrong side in France tho...it's always the little things!
Nice shots DJ. Particularly the 'high risk area' did they know you were coming!

Wow, great photos and it must have been an excellent ride. I was wondering what it would be like to ride one of those-no dealers in my area.
The 850 Griso is also a clean looking bike. Too bad there is such poor market penetration here. I remember the 850 LeMans that I rode once upon a time-yee haw!
Must have been hard to give it back....

You must be thinking the same as me, Just last week i was in melbourne to check out the Griso also.
I have a itch to scratch and I want to add either a Griso or an R1150R to keep the RT happy.
The photos are great..........it's made the debate harder....

Hey Philbie....where in country vic are you...it's great to hear from a local where most replies come from the other side of the world.
Where did you see the Griso...Ringwood?...did you ride it?...it would make a great companion to the RT..as would a RR.
Sorry most of my pics are gone now..I don't have much web space and have to delete pics so I can post more.
It would be nice to catch up with you one day for a ride.

I'm in Echuca....nice 3 hour ride from Melbourne too.....or even better, go through Yea and onto Semour and through to Heathcote, thats a great ride and lots fun on a nice day.
Checked out the Griso in Ringwood, and had lunch next door at the chinese......was a good day out. Didn't get to have a ride, and in some ways I'm glad i didn't.....might have made me do things I shouldn't.
Love to catch up for a ride one day - i'm in Melbourne once a month and am hoping to get on the bike a lot more these days, now we have settled down up here properly.
