1150R cam chain noise??

I know the cam chain issue has been discussed at length. I have upgraded my left side to the new style. Still get some noise on startup but it quiets down when oil pressure builds. My problem now, I think is the right side. Generally quiet until the temp builds. After the engine gets up to operating temp, it sounds like the right cam chain is banging around from idle up to about 2500 rpm. Anybody had any problem with the right side?? Is there an upgraded tensioner for the right side? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem not to long ago. I replace the right side tensioner; all seems good.
The right side tensioner does not have the upgraded tensioner. Ordering the parts will take some time as most BMW shops do not keep those parts in stock. Replacing the right side is much easier than the left
If I wasn't so anal about noises and such, I would've just left it alone. I really need to wear ear plugs on short rides too

I found out also that there is no upgraded tensioner for the right side. A quick call to BMW of Atlanta and the parts (they were in stock) are on the way. A total cost of about $14.00. Maybe this will take care of the noise for now.

Is this, by chance, something that would be covered by the warranty?

related question....maybe. When does the bike make this noise? I have a noise that shows up when the bike is warm. Most noticable when riding and I close the throttle to just above idle. Kind of a clicking/clattering. Cant tell where its coming from. Was thinking maybe the belt up front. Wasnt going to worry about it because I figured I'd get the "it's supposed to sound like that" reply!
