Well folks...it's happened!!
I layed down my RR yesterday. It was a wicked spill, but thankfully nobody was hurt. A few bruises on my arm and leg were the product of my ride yesterday. I think that my pride was hurt more than anything!! Haha.

I need to replace the fuel line, turn signals, headlight brackets, one foot peg and the handlbars. But, all in all it was fairly tame. All of the damage was done to the right hand side. Thank goodness for modern technologies in safety!!

I guess this just kinda speeds up my mission to upgrade a few parts on my bike.
I was thinking of going to the F650ST bars like on the "Bobster". Is it true that all you need to do is mount them upside down?? Otherwise, I am considering mounting flipped Rockster bars on my roadster. What do you think?

I want to get my baby back on the road sooooooo bad!!

To be completely honest...I believe I'm more sore from lifting that heavy beast into & out of the back of a truck than from the spill!!



In addition, if we can't laugh about our fudges...we're just not living life to the fullest!!

I'm glad you're not too hurt...Gravel...who invented that stuff...I'm glad I don't see it much of it here.

I don't see how those 650 bars mounted upside down clear the tank on full lock.

If they do clear it it must be only just..that means any slight tip over where the bars get a little bump..there goes the tank..it's maybe not worth it.

I'm also considering Rockster bars on mine.
