Hallo,

that are great videos. It's a little bit difficult for me to understand all sentences, but I'll get.

Thank you for these videos. Are there any other available?

Is there a plug-in needed ?
I'm using a Mac, OSX, & Fire fox browser
The message when the media viewer launches is:
Specified stream type is not reconized
Thanks for advice

Thanks!

just curious, this was a 600 mile service on the valve adjustment.....should you re-torque the heads each time the valves are adjusted?
Just like the old airheads?

Mick,
The videos are in the .wmv (Windows media video) format. You will need to install the Windows Media Player for Mac OSX:

Might want to check the BMW requirements but it's my understanding the head re-torque is just for the 600 mile service. It's also been suggested (here and other BMW sites) that the dealer should do this one as it's considered one of the most important.

All Boxer-Engines powered BMW-Motorcycles (Flat-Twin) are R-Modells.
So, the R4V Engine is a Flat-twin-engine with 4 Valves.
Yes, your 04 dual-sparkler engine is a R259 engine.
Since the first R4V-engine in 1993 (R1100RS Modell) this Motor got the BMW-intern-code R259.
