I was looking for some of the older BMW motorcycle commercials and came across this one - never saw it!
R1150R commercial
Was this really used by BMW?

I don't think I ever heard a BMW sound like that one did.

What's with the headlight pointing down like that..a lighting effect..or bad wheelie technique..
Thanks for posting it.

Nice video, but I like the song even better (Our Love is Here to Stay). Does anyone happen to recognize who is playing it?

My screen isn't the clearest, the rider is feathering the clutch to bring the front end up in that first video, right?

Gees, you can get an answer to anything on this board. Thanks, SotterCop. It is on my Christmas list!

It's amazing what they can do today with digital remastering and restoration isn't it? It almost sounds like it was recorded today!

Not a video but a link to an old song by a very good friend of mine songwriter and biker Tom Pacheco.

To hear more of Tom's music click the link below and then click on the album cover.

Hey Scootercop - Are you
sure that version is by Billie Holliday? I plugged both the title and her name into Amazon and didn't get a match for either.

definetly - I looked it up on iTunes. From the Complete Billie Holiday on Verve 1945-1959.
You can preview the song for a 30 second clip.

How come I can't see this? I just a quicktime logo with a big question mark in the middle.

Thanks BigC, for posting the Rick Mercer/Neil Peart video link - Neil Peart is one of the most respected drummers in the world, and obviously a keen biker as well. A talented lyricist, author and apparently a genuinely nice guy.
Doesn't it make you sick?
Cheers

Actually, Neil's last two books on his insanely long motorcycle trips were a huge inspiration in my getting my own first BMW bike.
