R1150RA, Ferro Blue, coming my way

I sold my R1150R years ago, thinking the Yamaha FJR1300 would be a better bike.... Well, it was better at throwing large amounts of heat into my crotch! It had no character, way more power than I needed, didn't feel as stable as the R. I bought an R1200C thinking that might be the ticket, but don't like the cruiser riding position. Anyways, I'm having this shipped in from A&S BMW soon. Supposedly there is the slightest scratch on one of the valve covers - anyone live close enough to inspect it for me? This Ferro color is the BOMB! Damn, I miss my R.

garylspolar,
Congratulations on the new Roadster! It will make you taller, thinner, smarter, and more desirable to the higher classes of women. Expect countless years of sheer pleasure! (from the motorcycle)

Congrats on the new mount, I join the other posters on their descriptions of the bike's character. I must also add that Billy Bob and the twins will be far more comfortable.....without the heat exposure. hehehe

Congratulations! Another new addition to your family!
Ferro blue is one of my favorite colors -- better than black and almost as good as Atlanta Blue.
Time to start buying accessories.

Welcome back to the right wing of the party.

You mean, "correct" wing of the party, of course.

Let's just say I'm ready to party again.
Are the California models any different? I'm hoping there's no extra emissions junk to deal with.

I have a California ferro metallic with the black engine and running gear, it looks just like yours, except I took off some of the graphics. I am sure it is the same bike the other states get. Best bike I have owned, bar none.

Somewhere deep inside, a small voice whispered ever so quietly to me once, "He'll be back."

The BMW's are the same in the U.S. which all meet California emissions.

Gary,
Nice looking bike, its a clone of mine. I have the sport shield tinted, but if I had it to do over, I would use the clear like your fly screen.
Hope you do not fall to the dark side & get rid of the enviromentally friendly cat & charcoal cannister. I'm a Rep. & I still have mine.

GARY
as said by others nice bike.

clear screen or tinted it makes no difference to the ride.

fitting a "y" piece drops the bikes weight by 22 pounds. and it will let the motor spin up quicker. and a 4/5 bhp increase (possibly).
if you keep the end can (muffler to you) emission's do not alter that much
