Santa had a wreck

Post by GypsyRR »

Don't tell your kids, but I saw Santa in a wreck yesterday. He had rear ended a minivan. Surely it wasn't the real Santa though, right? He looked too thin and was driving a Toyota Camry. But I did feel sorry for him; all dressed up in his red suit standing on the corner by the wrecked vehicles making a call on his cell phone. I suppose he was calling for the reindeer? I'm not sure who Santa calls when he has a wreck. I do wish I had my camera with me when I saw that.

Merry Christmas to all the new friends I've made this year. I hope this day brings you all kinds of joy and peace in your life and in your homes and I hope it lasts for a lifetime. Stay safe if you are traveling about during the holiday. Hug your kids or spouse a few extra times today and let them know they are special - they grow up or disappear so fast.

Same to you, Gypsy !! And Happy New Year to you and all the *boarders* here at R1150R.org

As for that Camry driving Santa, my folks used to tell me that these odd Santas that all looked so different were really just some of his elves sent out to help the real deal. There is a lot of truth in that, though I can't speak for your crashed Santa. At least he was unhurt (?). A photo of that surely would have made it on to the local news.

And a merry Chriskwanzanuhkah to you too, GypsyRR. I'm glad to see you've apparently gotten over your dread of the season and into the spirit of it. IMHO, that's what the season is really about!

And I want to say that I've really enjoyed your ride/travel pictorials. They are a nice gift I unfortunatley do not have the talent to reciprocate. But don't let that stop you! Keep 'em coming, please. :)

Riding vicariously in flat Florida...
