Anyone have an opinion or experience with Leo Vince slip on exhaust for the r1150r?

I've fitted a LeoVince to mine. Sounds wonderful, and the pipe has a removable baffle, with extra screws to replace the screw that will be destroyed in the removal process.

It's great, apart from the sound, I've shed some kilos. The bike is more responsive, and I suspect that this is more attributable to the Y-pipe that I already had installed than the pipe itself.

Here's a pic; I've opted not to install the small pipe guard, felt that it just does not go with the carbon pipe.

It also comes with LeoVince stickers and a metal logo that you can stick on.

We recomended and sold LeoVince systems in my shop. It is one of the few that takes extra steps during header construction to grind away internal weld blobs or seams that would interfere with the exhaust gas flow. It also showed in the can's internals too.

Since you are still shopping around, I urge you to spend the extra cash and get the Titanium can. At the very least, the less expensive Stainless Steel can. Both will outlast several easily damaged, somewhat fragile carbon cans while always looking great. With a ScotchBrite pad either Ti or SS can carefully be made new again, although the pastel violet-blue-gold heat discolorations that may appear on the Ti can adds the enviously beautiful color signature of high performance to what is obviously an exotic material.
Go Titanium.

No, it shouldn't interfere.

I have seen and ridden with a Y pipe + 2Bros can equipped OilHead with system cases and it fit. All cans are very similar and usually smaller in diameter than the stock muffler.

Another thing about the Y pipe + can . . . . It sounded really good.

Hey gopher...get the can you like. I would recommend Ti but CF cans are a bit better than they use to be 10 years ago. Besides, your rich ! Just get a new one every time the carbon looks a little smudged !

Strange thing about the LeoVince carbon fibre is that they are really matt in finish; not lacquered gloss.

Givena choice of only one, I'll have the Y pipe over the pipe.

Didn't want to dredge up an old thread but, does anyone know if Leo Vince Slip-Ons require repacking??

I've searched the internet and various other forums and simply can't find an answer.
