Forgive our mate DJ - I think he mistook 'ballades' for 'ballseys' and was waiting for a photo from the local nudy beach!

Welcome. Good bunch of 'experts' here who will always assist with a helpful or meaningless comment.

We will look forward to some pics of the bike in the twistys around Auvergne. It will be new for most of us.

Sebastien - welcome! We can deal with the translation issues. Even the Yanks, Brits and Aussie have issues and we are supposed to be speaking (typing?) the same language!

Need some ride reports from you part of the world!

Salut! Je aussi ne parle pas Francais bien! Votre Anglais est meilleur que mon Francais. :)

I usually spend a few weeks each summer in France and my langauage skills are improving at a rate where I expect to be fluent in tourist French by the age of 70...
Enjoy the bike and send us those Auvergne photos! :D

Sebastien de Nanterre? Don't I know you from somewhere? Welcome to this site!

I liked your blog: there are some interesting thoughts there. I also saw your detailed cost breakouts. As usual for me when I see any price in Euros these days, I had to wonder how anybody can afford luxuries in Europe. ($14/quart of Castrol oil??!)

Now is the time for Europeans to visit us. You'll find that after a $->EUR echange, our prices are nearly absurd for you. You'll also find that there are some pretty awsome folks around here, especially those on the board: the Mikes, Brian, Al, Vann, Mark, John, Gypsy, towerworker, .... What are you waiting for? Come on and visit us on this side of the pond this summer!
