New owner from Czech Republic

Hello from Prague.
I'm a happy new owner of BMW Rockster.
I bought it as a second hand bike in Munchen, Germany - the city where all BMWs come from!
. It's 08/2003 full featured version with ABS, heated grips, original BMW windscreen and 11000km mileage.
Just have a look at the photos below and you will see that the previous owner took care of the motorcycle in a best possible way. The original exhaust was modified by a german company to have a better sound and I can confirm it sounds perfect.
My Yamaha XJ600 is now driven by my wife

what was done to the (totally standard looking) exhaust?

I'm not sure, because the documentation given by the company which did it (called BSM) is in german. Anyway, I simply assume that most of the parts inside the muffler was just removed...

Hey man! Welcome! It is great to see another "Bohemian soul" on this board. I live in Milwaukee, WI, but I am born and raised in Ceske Budejovice.....(for all you uneducated, that is where the REAL and DRINKABLE Budweiser comes from.)
I have a green Rockster and I love her. Although I am suffering from serious stationary bike pains at the moment, since this morning the temperature out here was -20 degrees celsius!!! Even the dog didn't want to go outside.......
Anyway. Welcome. I have always wished I could take my Rockster around on the back roads of Sumava! Maybe one day!

That's right, the original Budweiser beer comes from Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic.
It's quite a long way it has to pass until you can drink it in Milwaukee
Yes, Sumava is a beautiful national park and it still keeps it's spirit because it's not overcrowded by turists.
However, I think it's not that large for cruising it on the bike. We prefer to enjoy it's nature on bicycles.
For a perfect motorbike ride, we have a great oportunity - the Alps. Last year we visited Grossglockner which is the highest place in Austria you can reach by motorbike. It was a wonderfull experience. Top quality roads, beautifull panoramas - simply the biker's heaven. Check out some photos below.

Welcome and thanks for the picture. In 2005 I spent 4 days in K.Vary and had a great time. What a beautiful country and excellent twisties for the Rockster . All the best
