Hi Bob, Congrats! I think the R12R is quite handsome and striking in white. With the blacked out mechanicals - it looks even better. What is the special sport seat? The one in the photo looks an awful lot like the original low seat.. BTW - I envy you the black rims.. be so much easier than cleaning...

Picked this up yesterday - the new Dark White R1200R, her name is Blanche. http://i.imgur.com/th5QTmL.jpg With the new Kriega 10L "tank bag" - notice this is ALL blacked out, final drive, wheels, everything. Also has the special sport seat (and man does it feel GOOD!). Taken from the iPhon...

This is just an observation and something to consider. Rode my bike to work yesterday morning (working P/T now!) and noticed a gas smell when I parked. It was 22 degrees. Gas leaking from one of the QD's. Had to go out again mid day and all was well. But I think it all warrants a closer inspection ...
