DJ...they did. It was called the 2004 Election Tour. Even better than the 2000 Election Tour!....they should put that show on the road.

That was funny, I'll bet The President would have to laugh at that.
Note: I'm so glad we have a President with good moral judgment, the balls to engage our enemies, and the confidence to go out and make so many speeches knowing he screws em up all the time.
The Bush Presidency has let us all know that being an eloquent speaker is NOT the most important qualification for that office.
I'm proud to have George Bush as our Commander and Chief.

Either I'm sorely confused or there's been some fast editing going on here. Where is the link to whatever the Prez said in Dave's orignal post on this thread? The I.T. security at work wouldn't let me access it and now that I'm home, it's not there. I was merely curious, but now it's going to drive me nuts - and I don't even have a steering wheel in my pants.

Kevin -
Wow! I see what you mean.
All I can say is I didn't do it!
NoRRmad -
I could agree...or not.
I didn't see it so much as a political discussion (if that's what you mean) as just what it is...a comedy bit.
Anyone offended here would have been offended in Playhouse too, anyone not offended here would not be in Playhouse either, so what difference does it make?
Someone even said, and rightfully so, that Dubya, his own silver-tongued self, would have laughed at it.
I just thought it was funny...still do.
Does seem like whoever screwed with it should have the balls to say so though...

Editing...
I'm not sure if it is possible to move a thread to another topic area, I sure hope it is.Kevin Markwell wrote:Either I'm sorely confused or there's been some fast editing going on here. Having said that, for a while now I have been noticing political censorship in this forum. It one thing to limit and constrain such topics to an area, specially since this is a motorcycle specific site. However, it would be a sad thing if somebody is censoring expression around here.

Darth, I though the original post was pretty funny. I showed it to my office mgr (she's a diehard dem) & she got a kick out of it. That said, maybe the playhouse would be more appropriate. But I agree that its pretty wierd what happened to the link. How about reposting it?
DJ- that pix is great.
Even republicans have to be able to chuckle about GW's speech (dare I say, impediments?). Al Gore was able to laugh off his foibles. Come to think of it, that may be one reason Kerry didn't connect so well. Its sad when people take themselves too seriously.

Yeah Rob...probably be best to re-post on Playhouse. I've been staying off of there since the big meltdown a few weeks ago.
I'll try to find it and re-post tonight.
Dubya does make jokes about the way he talks. I don't know if that was his idea or some *very* good advice from one of his handlers!
