The skies were heavily overcast this morning, but I decided to take the Roadster to Starbucks instead of driving the car. I really wanted to get in some riding before the thunderstorms got started.
I packed the tank bag with coffee mug, glasses, and "Devices and Desires" by P.D. James. For the next 45 minutes, I enjoyed one of those head-cleansing rides in which every curve was fast and smooth, every shift was quick and clean, and the engine kept begging for the sprints. Starbucks is a half-mile from the house.
