Dude,
You definately are the almighty king of throttle body science. The right side throttle cable was not fully in the knurled screw. It needed to be advanced about 2mm. Thanks again for your help.

Help with putting bike back together...
Hey there, I need help from you gear-head mystery solvers out there in cyber-space. This weekend I decided to take off some of the accessories that I had placed on my '04 R1150R. The bike was running superbly before this little project and the battery was fully charged according to the trickle charg...

Airhead question 1976 R75/6
Hi All, I am considering purchasing the above mentioned bike. The one I am looking at has a horrible rattle can paint job, needs new brakes and rear suspension. The engine runs strong but the port Bing carb sticks. I think that is because the bike was never stored on the center stand. There are side...

Brake light Warning
Just installed a brake light modulator... you know the one that flashes the light 3 times and then holds steady. The modulator works fine, but now I get the warning light on the instrument cluster that the brake light is not working. Is this to be expected or is there some way to shut this light off...

Headlight aiming
I recently noticed that when I drive at night my headlight is pointed up instead of ahead of the bike. Does anyone know the proper way to get it back in line. I recall a prior post stating that at 6 feet the top of the beam should be certain amount of inches above ground. Can't seem to find this any...

Anyone want to get together for a ride?
Just moved to the Tampa Bay area and looking for the elusive Tampa Bay BMW Riders group. Tired of riding with the harleys that are so abundant down here. I heard that they meet at the Country Skillet for breakfast on Sundays. Anyone heard of them? Anyone want to start our own West Coast FL rider gro...

So the first one didn't work and I got the manufacturer to send me another one. That didn't work either so I called them today. I was connecting it the correct way... the way that is diagramed above. Unfortunately I think the current to the light was too high for the modulator and it fried. As least...

Need help with brake light modulator
I am admittedly a novice when it comes to electrical stuff, but I am willing to try and that's why I need your help. I purchased an electrical modulator with a three wire hook up. Easy right? Well not for me. The three wires that come with the unit are: 1. red - connected to an inline fuse that goes...

Used trailer
Thanks for all the input. I think I'll start by calling UHAUL to see if they have any used mc trailers that they are selling.

UHAUL
I tried UHAUL but they want the motorcycle trailer picked and dropped off at the same location. I have utilized it to move non-working bikes locally and the price cannot be beaten for that. $15 a day as I recall. A photo of the carrier I am inquiring about can be found at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymo...

Need advice on Motorccyle trailing
Looking to trailer my R1150R about 1100 miles as I am moving cross country and also need to take the car with me. Was looking at a motorcycle carrier that attaches to the hitch and only lifts the front wheel off the ground. The front tire is then strapped to the carrier and to the tow hitch. The rea...

RKA tankbag
Didn't have a lot of $$$ to spend on a tank bag. Purchased an expandable bag with a three point mount from RKA, added some electricity with a Powerlet kit. Now have all I really need for about $200. Was the cheapest option for me and honestly it works just fine. As gas ups I just un latch the rear m...

Givi Airstars A750
Just mounted the Givi Airstars A750 on my 2004 1150R and while it does help with air blast on my chest it does not protect my head. Does let me go 95mph comfortably which I was not able to do without it. I am 5'11". So if you are taller than that I would recommend avoiding this screen at all co...
