There is another R1150S 2004 with 14k for 6700 at a BMW dealer. Is the S a mistake for a guy that sometimes has lower back problems.

I am located in the Atlanta GA.

I appreciate everyone's help and feedback. The seller sold the R1150R for 7K even though he promised it to me but the buyer waved green in front of him. Now I am can get a 2000 R1100R with 6K miles, non ABS, and no extras for 4500. What do guys think??

How is that bike for a 59 year old, 6'1" 200 lb.. new rider?

Any recommendations I am looking at a R1150R as well, non abs, saddle bags for 5700. It is a 2003 with 2100 miles.

Yes this thread concerns me since I am thinking seriously about purchasing a 2004 R1150R, I want to ride and not spend time or money on repairs.

The price on the 2004 R1150R with 15K started out at 7250 so he feels he is giving me a good buy at 6500 with all the option bags etc.

My first bike after wanting one for over 30 years, so I want to make sure she's the one Small saddle bags, not a whole lot of capacity
