I bought an "04 R1150R and the previous owner had broken that key cover also. I bought a cap from Beemerboneyard and replaced only the cover. It was easy.

A lot of the chrome plated brass fittings sold are made by "Colder Products". They also made the plastic fittings that were originally used on the BMW motorcycles. Here is a link that sells the same fitting. The "O" ring needs to be "Viton" and should be specified when ...
