Those are identical to the Omega Brand. And they look a lot like them too!
My guess would be that BeemeBoneYard is just a reseller for Omega and they package the clamps together with them for a complete package. Price looks good! Go for it!

Thanks for the reply. I thought they looked familiar, too. Before I order, though, does anyone have experience with the Carbone Lorraine brake pads? I asked a few months ago, but didn't get much of a response. Thought I'd combine shipping if they are worth trying.

I'm running those brake pads on my rear caliper now...and I think Boxer recommended them to me.

Yes, I have them on the rear. Haven't checked in some time to see how they're doing. Maybe I'll look at those tomorrow.

Right now I have the radiator, belts, and waterpump out of my little Toyota truck laying all around my garage. The new parts go in tomorrow. I tell you, when one thing goes, it all starts going to crap.

I put the QD's from Beemerboneyard in just prior to the bash. No complaints. I also purchased all of the service items that I needed from them. I can't imagine going anywhere else for parts as their customer service is very good, prices are good and they're only a couple of states away.

A lot of the chrome plated brass fittings sold are made by "Colder Products". They also made the plastic fittings that were originally used on the BMW motorcycles. Here is a link that sells the same fitting. The "O" ring needs to be "Viton" and should be specified when ordered.

I'd quarrel with this. Viton is acceptable but actaully may not hold up as well to the new gasoline formulations as Buna-N. From what I've read, either is acceptable but Buna-N may actually have a slight edge since most refiners are adding significant amounts of ethanol now. The Omega QD's ship with Buna-N o-rings as standard and you should be fine with them.

Much more important than o-ring choice is replacing the crappy plastic OEM QD's as soon as possible so that you don't get stranded when one cracks. Some on the board are getting rid ot QD's altogether and using a hose barb or even just a legnth of straight non-ferrous metal tubing of the appropriate diameter.

BTW, the price from Beemer Boneyard for the QD's is about the same as ordering direct from Omega. Looks like BB gives you clamps and an extra set of o-rings though, so they may actually be cheaper. BB is very good to deal with, they process and ship quickly, have fair pricing and don't charge outrageously for shipping and handling.
