Non ABS for me. While attempting some maintenance a while back with a pal of mine, we changed my brake fluid first. When it came his turn, we got into all kinds of trouble, the bike had to be towed to the shop. Realized later his brakes being ABS required a little more savvy!!!!

Wish... but with conditions.
I ticked No, but wish I did.
But I'm glad my R doesn't have ABS. I wish it had "normal" ABS like my GS had. So there.

I took the MSF Basic Rider Course in April, got my license in May and the bike on June 1.

This is my first bike so I don't have anything to compare it to other than those Suzuki GZ-250's in the class. It appears to work as designed, rear = rear only, front = front & rear, and in a panic stop, it's everything I could hope for!

I'll never buy a pure street bike without ABS again. Sure, the servo assist is wooden in feel, but who cares, feel isn't as important when you know you won't lock up. The noise annoys me more, but it's no biggie. There are simplier and maybe better ABS options out there, but I still prefer my R with it.
Maintenance is the part that peeves me off, still don't know why the annual flush and check is needed when cars can go years without anything similar.
