parabellum windshield help

Post by pat ryan »

all-
my dealer recently gave me a windshield and i believe it is a parabellum. does anyone have pictures of how it mounts and the associated hardware? the hardware/holes on the windshield do not line up with the stock windscreen mounts.
thanks in advance,
pat

You can try http://parabellum.com/ . They have several styles so you may be able to verify which you have.
If you have a BMW windscreen, the harware will not match up. I believe if you call Parabellum you can order the hardware separate.
I have a supertour 21" that I cut down. Here is a picture before the cutdown.

thanks. that looks like the screen i have. any chance you could snap a photo of the mounting hardware? i've sent an e-mail to parabellum, but have not received a reply yet. their website does not have the views that i need.
best regards,

This shows the bottom mount..it's kind of hard to see because I painted the bracket black so it would stand out so much. It comes in silver.

buckster-
great pictures; many thanks. that looks like the mounting bracket on my windshield. parabellum wants to charge $49 for the nuts/bolts needed to connect to the bike.
looks like you have removed the black fringe around the bottom of the screen. any reason other than cosmetics?
thanks again,
pat
