Getting a 2004 R1150R

Post by tekxtc »

I have been lurking on this site since April 2005 (and even before that because I remember the saga of old board migrating to new board). Coming to the point:

I will be paying 7K for the slate blue 2004 R1150R with 4500 miles, ABS and heated grips.

I will be going to look at the bike on Monday. Is there anything specific that I should look at?

As the custom goes, I will post pics when the bike comes home (about 1 week).

I guess its about time, I add a sig in my profile :-)

Looks like a good prospect. I would look at the tires and what services have been provided. If it's a dealer, find out if it is a CPO and has the additonal 2 year/24K miles warranty. Of course I pressume that you will take it out for a spin, good luck.
