Battery Tender(s) on sale!

Post by kantuckid »

If you make a quick trip to Kmart , you can get the Die Hard charger while it's on sale for $19.95. It is a float type which can be left on all the time. I got one for my Honda and another for my RV- which has two deep cells- and that's much less than the Battery Tender brand goes for on Ebay. 2amp/12v with SAE connectors, alligator clamps and both cords are long.

According to the detailed instructions that come with the DieHard unit they will not damage your battery, nor will they provide a "fast charge". I have read the stuff you passed on and the entire Battery Tender web site and was/am comfortable with these chargers I mentioned. I did buy a cheapy floating charger at Wally World for my Bass Tracker boat that I discontinued using because of the concerns mentioned. You pay your $- you take your chances...
